Project Highlights

I lead research and strategy projects that translate complex user, market, and behavioral data into clear product and business decisions. My work sits at the intersection of market research, UX, and quantitative analysis, partnering closely with product, design, and leadership teams to reduce uncertainty and guide investment.

Across roles in consulting, enterprise research, and applied product design, I’ve owned end-to-end research efforts—from defining the right questions, to selecting rigorous methodologies, to synthesizing insights into actionable recommendations. While much of my recent work is protected by NDAs, the projects below reflect the scope, depth, and impact of my approach.

"Crista's research was thorough, the methodology was strong, and it was clear how the work would plug directly into our programs."

Client Feedback

“Crista approaches research with care and intention. She’s deeply thoughtful about methodology, ethics, and impact—and it shows in the quality of her work and the way teams respond to it.”

“Working with Crista felt like having a true thought partner. She asked the right questions early, earned trust across teams, and delivered research that directly shaped our strategy.”

Recent Work

  • Market & Opportunity Research

Led a multi-phase market research effort to support strategic planning and investment decisions for a large consumer-facing organization. The work focused on clarifying market dynamics, user segments, and competitive positioning in a rapidly evolving landscape.

I partnered closely with cross-functional stakeholders to define the right research questions, design a mixed-methods approach, and synthesize findings into clear, decision-ready insights. The resulting work helped align teams around shared evidence, reduced ambiguity, and informed downstream product and organizational strategy.

    Methods included:
Market & competitive analysis • qualitative interviews • survey design • insight synthesis

  • UX & Behavioral Research

Conducted UX and behavioral research to support the design and evolution of a digital product used by a broad and diverse user base. The research focused on understanding user motivations, pain points, and decision-making patterns in real-world contexts.

My role included shaping the research plan, conducting qualitative research, collaborating with designers and product partners, and translating findings into actionable recommendations. Emphasis was placed on balancing usability, trust, and emotional considerations to ensure the resulting experiences were both effective and humane.

    Methods included:
UX interviews • journey mapping • behavioral analysis • design collaboration

  • Quantitative & Evaluative Research

Designed and executed quantitative research to evaluate patterns in user behavior and measure the effectiveness of programs and initiatives. This work required developing a clear analytical framework, working with complex datasets, and interpreting results with care and nuance.

Findings were translated into accessible narratives and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences, supporting evidence-based decision-making and future planning.

    Methods included:
Statistical analysis • survey research • persona mapping • data synthesis • research communication
